This policy explains what personal data Star Aurora for Information Technology collects through aurora-247.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. Who we are
The website aurora-247.com is operated by Star Aurora for Information Technology (“Aurora”, “we”, “us”), Office 120, First Floor, Balsan Building 164, Mecca Street, Amman, Jordan. Aurora is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
For any privacy question or request, email hello@aurora-247.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line, or call +962 79 227 4174.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data collected through this website and through enquiries you send us by email, telephone or WhatsApp. Data processed on behalf of our clients within Aurora products or client engagements, such as Aurora Nexus or Aurora Sentinel deployments, is governed by the written agreement with that client, not by this policy.
3. Personal data we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, company, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, the type of enquiry and your message.
- Direct contact: the details you choose to share when you email, call or message us on WhatsApp.
Information collected automatically
- Before you make a cookie choice, or if you decline: the site loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics in consent mode, with analytics storage denied. In this mode no analytics cookies are set; Google may still receive limited, cookieless signals such as the page viewed, browser type and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
- If you accept analytics: Google Analytics sets analytics cookies and records page views and site interactions, such as navigation clicks, button clicks and form steps. Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, including clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, to produce aggregated heatmaps and session recordings. The content you type into the contact form is not sent to analytics tools.
- Hosting logs: our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Preferences stored in your browser: your cookie choice, language and theme. These stay on your device. See the Cookie Policy for details.
We do not buy personal data, and we do not use this website to collect special categories of data.
4. How we use personal data and why
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement, including routing it to the right team. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and is in our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
- To understand and improve the website using analytics. We do this only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse, including the anti-spam checks on the contact form. This is in our legitimate interest.
- To meet legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your enquiry for marketing unless you have agreed to it.
5. Who we share personal data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and respond to you:
- Web3Forms, which delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
- Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics), for website analytics.
- Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity), for website analytics, only if you accept analytics.
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts and delivers the website.
- Our email and communication providers, including WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose to contact us there.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law or a competent authority, or to a named partner involved in your engagement with your agreement.
6. International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside Jordan, including in the United States and the European Union. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards available under applicable data protection law, such as the provider’s contractual data protection commitments.
7. How long we keep personal data
- Enquiries: for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If the enquiry leads to an engagement, it is kept as part of the client record for the period required by the contract and by law.
- Analytics data: for the retention period configured in our Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity accounts, and used in aggregate.
- Browser preferences: until you clear them in your browser.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you are, including under Jordan’s Personal Data Protection Law No. (24) of 2023 and, for visitors in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data or restrict how we use it;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- withdraw your consent to analytics at any time, without affecting earlier processing;
- complain to the data protection authority in your country.
To exercise these rights, email hello@aurora-247.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to enquiry data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
